Prof Cobanoglu co-chaired the 3rd Global Conference on Education and Research (GLOCER) which took place on May 21-24, 2019 at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. More than 200 attendees from 28 countries attended GLOCER Conference.

GLOCER 2019 received 175 abstracts/papers for the conference from 230+ authors. One hundred thirteen of these presentations are accepted to be presented at GLOCER 2019. Cobanoglu said: “GLOCER is a truly an interdisciplinary and global conference as we host hosted more than 200 participants from 28 countries and from different fields of studies. Each year, the conference quality is increasing.” A book entitled “Advances in Global Education and Research Vol III” is published from the full papers presented at GLOCER Conference. The book is open-access and available through USF website. 2017 and 2018 books are also available as open-access format.
